PSUK V The Army
The annual match against the Army was played at St Michaels GC, Leuchars, on the weekend of 30th & 31st June 2025. Sunday was 4BB and the sun was shining very brightly, resulting in some tinted faces by the end of the day and a 4-0 win for the PSUK team.
Day 2 was singles in 4 balls. The day started off with wayward tee shot ricocheting off the first tee almost taking out the entire PSUK team and the ball was lost for good……this was then followed by a hole in 1 at the 7th hole for Team Captain Fiona Pennie. The day finished with 7 wins for PSUK and 1 win for the Army.
Overall, a lovely couple of days weather wise and a convincing 11-1 win for PSUK.

PSUK V Royal Navy
The annual match against the Navy was played at Hill Valley GC, Whitchurch on the weekend of 20th and 21st July. Sunday was 4BBB and once again the weather got the better of us with heavy rain and thunder starting even before the first group got halfway around. Common sense prevailed in the absence of a claxon and the team called a halt to the matches. The standings were one match up for both PSUK and The RN and the other two matches all square.
Monday day 2 - was singles in 4 balls. Unfortunately, the Navy were only able to field 6 players so the first two matches were 3 balls with the Navy girls playing against two of the PSUK girls. The day finished with 6 wins, 2 matches halved and 1 match lost in favour of PSUK.
Overall, a great couple of days and a convincing 9-3 win for PSUK.
