An early break with 70km to go by Ben Millar (NHS) went all the way to the finish netting him the overall title. In the group behind the heat coupled with the climb out of Bobbington saw the numbers dwindling.
The final ascent saw Rich Butler (Fire) go clear, then on the rolling descent Tom Clements ( Dorset Police ) made a break for it along with Andy Gibson (Fire) finishing together some 50 secs ahead of the chasing group to clinch 4 th & 3 rd respectively which was later promoted to 3 rd & 2nd following the DQ of Rich Butler. Thus crowning Tom Clements ( East Dorset Police ) as police champion
In the chase the sprint was won by Tony Snow (Fire) from Jack Bracey ( Norfolk Constabulary ) & Ashley Harvey ( Met Police ).
