The event which was sold out saw teams from across His Majesty's services comprising from the Army, Royal Navy, H.M. Prison Service, Fire Service, H.M.R.C. and many Police teams from England and also a team from Police Scotland.
The weather was very overcast with warnings for rain. Thankfully apart from a short shower at the end of the match the weather remained dry with some sunny intervals. After the captain's safety briefing and team draw the competitors made their way to their respective pegs ready for the 11am start. Their match lasted for 5 hours and concluded at 4pm.
Following the match all competitors met back at the fishery café where a superb buffet was enjoyed by all whilst the results were worked out.
