The event which was sold out saw teams from across His Majesty's services comprising from the Army, Royal Navy, H.M. Prison Service, Fire Service, H.M.R.C. and many Police teams from England and also a team from Police Scotland and our friends in the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
The weather was warm and sunny with clear skies and a light wind not perfect for fishing but perfect for me as the organiser. After the captain's safety briefing and team draw the competitors made their way to their respective pegs ready for the 11am start. Ther match lasted for 5 hours and concluded at 4pm.
Following the match all competitors met back at the fishery café where a superb buffet was enjoyed by all whilst the results were worked out.
This was primarily a team event, and the results were as follows.
